This application is designed to provide easier access to forest staff to important judgements on wildlife offences from various hon’ble High Courts in India as well as various courts in the state of Maharashtra. The application serves as a tool to ease the process of finding and using case laws. With the current set of filters, forest staff can easily find judgments that are relevant to their own on-going cases.
Since these judgements pre-date the 2022 amendment to the Wild Life (Protection) Act 1972, the schedule numbering of the animals in these judgements and the database are as per the older Act. We advise all users to refer to the updated Act to find the correct schedule of the species in question.
All judgements provided in the database have been taken from public domain sources available to all citizens of India. Court Judgements are considered as public documents. According to Section 52 (1) (q) (iv) of the Copyright Act, 1957, publication of court judgements does not constitute any sort of copyright infringement.

चूंकि ये निर्णय वन्य जीवन (संरक्षण) अधिनियम 1972 में 2022 के संशोधन से पहले के हैं, इसलिए इन निर्णयों और डेटाबेस में जानवरों की अनुसूची संख्या पुराने अधिनियम के अनुसार है। हम सभी उपयोगकर्ताओं को सलाह देते हैं कि वे संबंधित प्रजातियों की सही अनुसूची खोजने के लिए अद्यतन अधिनियम का संदर्भ लें।
डेटाबेस में दिए गए सभी निर्णय भारत के सभी नागरिकों के लिए उपलब्ध सार्वजनिक डोमेन स्रोतों से लिए गए हैं। कॉपीराइट अधिनियम, 1957 की धारा 52 (1) (क्यू) (iv) के अनुसार, न्यायालय के निर्णयों का प्रकाशन किसी भी प्रकार का कॉपीराइट उल्लंघन नहीं माना जाता है।
